1. What SchoolPodium is

SchoolPodium (“we,” “us”) organizes publicly available information about Catholic high schools — tuition, admissions dates, academics, athletics, and related facts — with sources and verification dates, so families can compare schools in one place. By using this site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Ownership

The individual facts we display about a school (its published tuition, an admissions deadline, a course count) are public information and aren’t owned by anyone. What SchoolPodium owns is the original expression built on top of those facts: the site’s design, layout, and visual identity; our text, descriptions, and summaries; our software and database structure; and our particular selection, verification, and arrangement of information into comparisons. That material is protected by copyright and other applicable law and is © SchoolPodium, all rights reserved, except where a third-party source is credited.

3. What you may not do

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download SchoolPodium’s pages, database, or comparison data using automated tools, bots, or scripts;
• Copy, republish, mirror, or redistribute a substantial portion of the site’s content, design, or underlying data compilation, whether verbatim or in a modified form;
• Build a competing product substantially derived from our compiled data or design; or
• Remove or obscure any copyright, attribution, or source notice on the site.

Ordinary personal use — browsing, comparing schools for your own family, sharing a link, or printing a page for your own reference — is always fine. So is a search engine or AI answer engine (Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and similar) crawling and citing our published school pages, the way they would any public website — that’s consistent with our robots.txt and llms.txt. What’s not permitted is using automated access to bulk-harvest the underlying compiled database or comparison tool itself for reuse elsewhere.

4. Accuracy of information

We source every fact from official school materials and note when it was last verified, but schools change their policies, dates, and costs — always confirm anything decision-critical directly with the school before relying on it. SchoolPodium never ranks schools; we present differences and leave the decision to your family.

5. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
